Hold that Thought might be one of our favorites. During the selection process, it was quite difficult to fall in love with artist’s books because it is hard to show the work of someone, give it justice without being too extra and steal the show with the design. Hold that Thought completely succeeds in showcasing the artist’s work in a simple yet non-classical way. Featuring an art work that is always in movement with spatial interventions, the design and layout of it flows with this dynamic. Even the perspective essence of it appears to us with subtle interventions such as a hand-folded paper element that by little touch comes out of the paper. Truly beautiful. The layout is constantly changing but stays always in the same editorial line and is exciting all the way though.
