The multiple reading directions and the different usages of type reflect the attitude that the writings could be read as viewpoints from different perspectives and backgrounds without spelling out a definite answer. This way of working with the text is in a way treating the text as an image; for example, the play between white parts and dark text blocks on pages. The simplicity of using only black and white makes the layout sufficiently clear and convincing. The different sizes of typesetting and spaces between text blocks create hierarchy and structure in the layout. The topic of how contemporary fashion can challenge traditional practices is very urgent and up to date and, consequently, we are happy to see how the design of this publication dares also to be different with simple means.
