Malin: This publication reveals an insight into an art institution. Voices of employers get a chance to speak, and archived art is being revealed. The entire content portrayed in a gracefully designed publication.
Ruby: I have seen the exhibition that this publication was made for and the book intrigues me more than the exhibition did at the time, and that I think is an accomplishment that should be rewarded.
Malin: Funny. As far as I know the exhibition and the book originated from the same pen.
Ruby: I like how the images go over the edge of the page onto the next, a bit like skipping through a dia slide show. I think it is an important detail that gives this book character and personality. The typography and paper choice are indeed, as Malin says, graceful, but perhaps also a safe bet. The placement of the image gives the whole thing a bit of edge, which I really appreciate.
Auke: This idea of getting an insight into an art institution is really interesting as Malin mentioned! Although I think everything about how this book has been executed is a bit safely. Yes, the paper is nice. Yes, the text is well-typeset. And again, yes, the images are placed carefully on the page. For me, there is no tension. The book is good, but not ‘wow’.
Birgit: Nothing much to add.
