Malin: Nice proportions, nice paper, nice content. Simply beautiful. What else can I say.
Birgit: We’ve had quite a long discussion about this book looking quite similar to previous books about Karel Martens. I, for one, don’t really mind. It shows a diverse collection of work by Martens and the book design is simple but powerful. To print most of the work on the right page only, adds to the tranquility of the book. It also makes sure that the work gets the attention it deserves.
Auke: They do have similarities, Birgit, but this book is also part of a series. And again, as Malin said before: beautiful content, nice editing, well-reproduced, nice material, feels good, flows good.
Ruby: Nice book smell when opening it, pleasant experience, well-done. Finding it hard to say more.
Patrick: The place where Karel Martens created his ideas looks great. Good idea to use this as content for a book about his work. Almost gives you the idea that you are in his studio and you can closely look at every detail. It feels, as said before, really like a Karel Martens book
