Most of the time we might find dog’s ears in a book a non-pleasant surprise, but in this special case we really enjoyed this functional detail. Onno Zijlstra’s publication ‘Imagination; about the perception in art’ is full of these small but delightful surprises. The book, which looks quite serious at first sight, has small pieces of the drawing from its cover spread through the whole book, referring to a poem we found on one of the first pages. We found the rest of the drawing inside the cover, as well as the subtle and elegant typography choices made by the Vormforensen.
