We included a book in the selection that is nearly impossible to read. That seems strange. Even more so because the book is almost entirely text. Various ideas of why it is difficult were brought up: it is only in capitals, the spacing is way too compact or maybe it is a generational thing. Perhaps the case is that we can no longer read handwriting (is it our fault that we cannot read it?). We found out that the dense texts are actually drawings. Realising that the text is not necessarily meant to be read from cover to cover made more sense. Along with the dense text drawings there are loose papers with images printed on, which can be moved around freely. The compositions of imagery over text that the reader can make himself makes for a beautiful book.
