Boring Collection

Boring Collection is a catalogue designed to show a collection of furniture by Lensvelt, published on the occasion of the presentation of the Boring Collection at Salone del Mobile in April 2016.

The book was realized in the same spirit of the collection. It’s somehow boring, but efficient too, and well designed. The furniture presented here is all grey, photographed against a white background to show each piece separately, and against a grey background of exactly the same tonality to show the pieces together. The layout of the catalogue is very simple: grey pages for the text typed in Univers (which is a pretty good typographic choice in this specific case), white glossy paper for the pages with photographs. The paper is very pleasant to the touch. The book’s format is quite handy, thin and a pleasure to look at. A PDF catalogue can be downloaded on the company website.
